The staff structure of the department is reasonable, and the department has sent doctors to Dallas, Austria, Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai, guangzhou and other places to study advanced urology technology for many times, so as to form a young and strong team of professional and technical personnel.

    Currently, there are urology ward, urology outpatient clinic, andrology outpatient clinic and treatment room, cystoscopy examination and treatment room, urodynamics examination room, andrology examination laboratory, nephropathy laboratory and so on. There are more than 20,000 emergency and outpatient visits, about 1700 hospitalized patients and more than 1,200 surgical patients per year.

    The department pays special attention to the treatment of difficult diseases in urology and the development of advanced technology. It has strong overall strength and is good at the diagnosis and treatment of various difficult and critical diseases in urology. It plays a regional demonstration and guidance role in the diagnosis and treatment of urological diseases. At present, laparoscopic total cystectomy plus ileal cystectomy, laparoscopic radical prostatectomy, inguinal and pelvic lymph node dissection, laparoscopic nephrectomy, adrenalectomy, radical nephrectomy plus removal of renal venous thrombus, pyeloplasty, ureterolithotomy, high ligation of spermatic vein, laparoscopic cryptorchidism, and Laparoscopic exploration and repair of bladder rupture have been routinely carried out. Radical resection of renal cell carcinoma plus thrombectomy of renal (inferior vena cava) vein were performed in many cases. One of them was radical resection of renal cell carcinoma under complex cardiopulmonary bypass plus thrombectomy of right atrium and inferior vena cava, which reached the leading level in China.
