Dermatology department was established in 1958. It is a clinic, teaching, scientific research and Consultation Center for patients with dermatovenereal diseases in Western Shandong and the surrounding areas of Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong and Henan provinces. It is also a member of Shandong Skin and Venereal Disease Science and Technology Innovation Alliance, a key clinical specialty in Shandong Province, a national training base,and liaocheng cosmetics adverse reactions monitoring sentinel.

    Dermatology department is the teaching and practice base of taishan medical college and liaocheng vocational and technical college. According to the teaching plan of clinical department and stomatology department of taishan medical college, the theoretical teaching and internship of clinical department of taishan medical college and theoretical teaching tasks of stomatology department of taishan medical college were completed on time. At the same time, it is a national planning and training teaching base, which has successfully completed standardized training for resident doctors according to the plan, with 100% participation rate and 100% qualification rate.

It mainly treats psoriasis, vitiligo, acne, acute and chronic urticaria, eczema dermatitis, herpes zoster, scabies and various superficial fungal infections, bacterial skin diseases, viral skin diseases and connective tissue diseases such as lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, dermatomyositis, bullous skin diseases, various skin benign and malignant tumors, and various sexually transmitted Diseases such as gonorrhea, syphilis, condyloma acuminatum, genital herpes, etc.
